Nothing screams fresh vision for me like a new pair a frames. This fun pair from Bonlook was the perfect collaboration of classic Gatsby meets edgy modern, which was exactly what I was going for.
Being focused is something that can be really challenging for me, and something I constantly have to work at. Being extremely artistic and creatively minded, I tend to be all over the place, and find that my best work evolves when I have a bit of a mess, so to speak. Lara Casey continues to push me to Make Things Happen, which requires being, intentionally, focused.
As I have been praying through this challenge, being refreshed on this verse has helped remind me that I cannot be focused on what I need to be focused on if I’m not focused on Him first.

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Matthew 6:33

Way to often I get caught up in the “to-do’s”. I simply strive to get it done on my own rather that stopping long enough to ask the most focused one to help me.
I love the cry of David’s heart here:

“My heart says of you, “Seek his face!” Your face, Lord, I will seek.” Psalm 27:8

Sometimes I believe we have to command ourselves to do what is uncomfortable, and what might seem like a waste of time. What I am discovering is that, seeking Him first is the most productive way to be.
Cheers to a Focused week!! I’m Chelsie Birks, and this is my glossy life!
